Speaking about the announcement of The Arts at Marble Arch, Louis Hartshorn, Cllr Ryan Jude and Tegan Summer said:

"It is a joy and privilege to build a new theatre in London. We estimate that we will entertain half a million people here in the next two years alone, maintaining the programming and spirit of the Arts Theatre and keeping as many of our incredible staff team together as possible. We're honoured to be bringing a cultural offering to the iconic Marble Arch and thank everyone at Westminster Council for their support and commitment to the project."

Louis Hartshorn
CEO of HH Productions

"The Arts Theatre's temporary move to Marble Arch is a fantastic example of the Council's commitment to supporting a thriving cultural scene in Westminster. Not only will this exciting new venue activate an iconic location within the West End with a high quality cultural offer, it will also preserve the legacy, jobs, artistic programming and cultural output of the Arts whilst it undergoes a transformational upgrade."

Cllr Ryan Jude
Cabinet Member for Climate, Ecology, Culture and Air Quality at Westminster City Council

"I am proud to partner with Louis and Brian on a venture that aims to redefine how a new London theatre can serve its artists and audiences. The strong support from residents and the industry underlines the value of a venue committed to innovative work that strengthens the cultural footprint of the city. I am determined to help steer this theatre toward a future driven by ambition, excellence, and a clear strategic vision for its growth."

Tegan Summer
CEO of Tegan Summer Theatricals

There has been great support for the project during the public and private consultations that have taken place to date and from the theatre industry. Marble Arch has excellent transport links ensuring that audiences can access the theatre conveniently and will bring real benefit to the local area increasing revenue for local retail, hotels and restaurants. It will add to the vibrancy of the area sitting alongside the exciting offerings in the neighbourhood. The plan to open the theatre is subject to the award of a premises license.
